Cremation: Peaceful Service Package
Peaceful Service Package:
• Consultation of the funeral arrangements registry
• Respectful and dignified transportation of the deceased
• Temporary care of the deceased
• Necessary preparations for presentation (embalming, cosmetic care, hairstyling, and casketing)
• 3-hour viewing (2 hours of visitation, 1 hour of tributes in the salon, with staff and equipment provided)
• Administrative support, including:
o Registration of the death
o Cremation certificate and 5 copies of the death attestation
o Cancellation of official documents (Health Insurance Card, Driver’s License, SIN)
o Management of death benefits and pensions with the Quebec Pension Plan (RRQ)
• Cremation (placement in urn, identification medallion, and registration in official records)
• Delivery of the selected urn
Death Benefit: A $2,500.00 reimbursement from the Quebec government may be applicable if the decedent has contributed sufficiently.
