Death Benefit: A $2,500.00 reimbursement from the Quebec government may be applicable if the decedent has contributed sufficiently.
- Consultation of the prearranged funeral registry
- Respectful and dignified transportation of the decedent
- Temporary care of the decedent
- Necessary preparations for presentation (decedent care, cosmetic care, hairstyling, and casketing)
- 2-hour visitation and a 1-hour ceremony in the funeral home (including staff, transportation, and equipment)
Administrative Support, including:
- Death registration
- 5 copies of the death attestation
- Cancellation of official documents (health insurance card, driver’s license, and social insurance number)
- Management of death benefits and pensions with Retraite Québec (RRQ)
- Transportation to the cemetery and equipment for the final resting place
